India is a vast and diverse country having a population of nearly 1.5 billion people, with each of them having different ideologies, beliefs, opinions, political leanings etc. But there is a grave underlying problem in all of this which is 'worship of a political party or entity'.
Regardless of age, gender, generation, educational background, people in India have made political ideology a topic for debate such that instead of debating based on facts and rationality, people debate based on the 'level of bhakt' they are. Indians defend their favorite political entity such that their entire livelihood is dependent on them whereas the party or the entity doesn't even care about our existence.

Turning a blind eye to accountability
This causes a grave problem of people turning a blind eye towards accountability and responsibility. Be it the ruling party, which has the responsibility of progress and improving the quality of life, or the opposition, whose work is to protest, oppose and criticize — the worship culture makes people turn a blind eye towards these, and instead of debates being about development, debates on news channels are about which party is better.
This political worship culture should be replaced by nationality, rationality and facts — not by an argument over why party A is better than party C.
